S/S 2020 LOOKBOOK—nighthawks vintage

As I took steps into building out my fashion portfolio, I pitched look-book shoots to local boutiques in the Baltimore and DC area. One of these boutiques, Nighthawks Vintage was run by Jessa entirely online via Etsy and Instagram. She ran Nighthawks solo, including capturing images of her inventory on mannequins and models alike. Working with Jessa to create a lookbook took a huge weight off her shoulders and gave her room to direct the overall creative vision while leaving the photography and art direction to me.

  • Create a series of images highlighting styles for spring and summer to be used in a local clothing boutique look-book.

  • At the time, Nighthawks was a Baltimore establishment so it was important for Baltimore to feature heavily as the backdrop.

    Each model sported two unique looks with each piece featuring light, airy pastels and fabrics to communicate comfort and breathability.

  • A beautiful series of images for Instagram and Etsy ahead of the Spring/Summer season and a strong proof of concept in the portfolio to show prospective boutiques in the area.
