Sarah and I conspired to capture new stills for her current line of boutique pieces for her website as well as Instagram. This was a learning experience for both of us and it showed. We approached this project with a clear vision but struggled with the execution. We ultimately created images we were proud of but opted not to use them. They live on here as an indication of a starting point and provide context for the evolution of my body of work.

Create a series of images for a local clothing boutique to use for e-commerce and social media.

These pieces were directly influenced by fashion in the late 1920s. The sets, accessories, and makeup styles were all chosen to make this connection to the ‘20s explicit along with the lighting which evokes an old-Hollywood glamour.

A series of images across three looks for use in our portfolios, much-needed studio practice, and a better understanding of how I needed to grow to succeed as a producer and artist.
